About

Articul8 is a learner-centered coaching space designed to help professionals communicate with clarity, confidence, and cultural awareness so they can thrive in their day-to-day. I know the gap between having something real to say and not quite the words to say it. I've lived there. Closing that gap is exactly why I do this work.

Hey! Nice to meet you. I’m Sam.

I’m a certified Neurolanguage Coach®, TESOL educator, and NLP practitioner, with over 13 years of corporate experience across customer service, marketing, and digital project management roles.

I grew up in warm Trinidad & Tobago, where conversation isn’t just communication — it’s connection, culture, and occasionally a full performance. Having lived and worked across the Caribbean, Latin America, France, and now Toronto, Canada in bilingual roles, I understand what it means to adapt to new cultures, diverse communication styles, and ever-evolving workplace expectations.

From direct and expressive in the Caribbean to more subtle, nuanced and politically careful in Canada, that journey taught me that career success in a second language isn’t about grammar. It’s about having the courage to speak while staying true to your intention. That belief is at the heart of everything I do at Articul8.

On a deeper level, I believe as humans we are hard-wired for seeking out connection. Yes, we may be more digitally connected than ever, but we are lonelier for it. Somewhere between the notifications and the algorithms, real conversation — the kind where someone actually gets what you mean — has become rare. That's what I'm in the business of restoring. One client, one conversation at a time.

When I’m not coaching, I’m learning. Right now that means practicing guitar chords and leveling up my Dutch on Duolingo. I remind myself daily what it feels like to be a beginner — humbled, frustrated, and truly inspired. It keeps me honest about what I ask of my clients.

My Approach

At Articul8, I don’t do one-size-fits-all. My coaching is grounded in Neurolanguage Coaching® and built around one simple belief: when you can express yourself clearly in English, doors open.

My clients are professionals, freelancers, and entrepreneurs — people who are talented and capable but sometimes held back by the language.

Some are preparing for a promotion. Some are newcomers to Canada hoping to land a bilingual position. Some are building their own business and need to show up credibly with a linguistically diverse client base.

Whatever brought you here, you’ll leave with more than new vocabulary. You’ll leave with confidence.

Why Neurolanguage Coaching?

Neurolanguage Coaching® is an ICF-accredited methodology created by Rachel Marie Paling that combines brain-based coaching principles with neuroscience to make language learning faster, more effective, and — crucially — more sustainable. It is a registered trademark of Rachel Marie Paling.

In practice, it means we work with how your brain actually learns — not against it. No rote memorization. No one-size-fits-all curriculum. No shame spirals when you make a mistake. Just a structured, science-backed, deeply personal process that moves at your pace and toward your specific goals.
